• 11月23日 - "An Unearthly Child" , the first episode of the same title story and of Doctor Who, debuted on BBC tv.
• 11月30日 - "An Unearthly Child" was re-broadcast on the BBC tv, followed by the debut of "The Cave of Skulls", the second episode of An Unearthly Child.

• 12月14日 - "The Firemaker", the fourth and final episode of An Unearthly Child, debuted on BBC tv.
