- 1963 - Director Christopher Barry outlined his initial thoughts on serial B to script editor David Whitaker. At this stage they thought they were making a story called The Mutants, but posterity would remember the story as The Daleks — the story that turned Doctor Who into "must see TV".

- 2007 - The Big Finish audio story Masters of War was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2016 - The Big Finish audio stories All Hands on Deck and A Small Semblance of Home were recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2018 - Big Finish's audio anthology The Third Doctor Adventures: Volume Five was recorded at WiseBuddah.
- 2018 - Big Finish confirmed the sixth and seventh series of The Diary of River Song.
