The Wooden Queen was form taken on by the life force of an Androzani tree to ensure the safety of her forest, like her counterpart the Wooden King.

History[]

When Madge Arwell was used as a lifeboat to save the trees' life force and travelled through the Time Vortex back to 1941, the Wooden Queen and King's bodies reverted to ordinary wood. (TV: The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe [+]Steven Moffat, Doctor Who Christmas Special 2011 (BBC One, 2011).)

Characteristics[]

The King, like the Queen was mute. However, she was able to communicate by touching a person's neck and using that person's vocal chords. She presumably grew from what looked like a Christmas tree bauble, from which the Wooden King hatched like a bird from an egg. (TV: The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe [+]Steven Moffat, Doctor Who Christmas Special 2011 (BBC One, 2011).) She was a "compassionate" and "nurturing" figure who "embodie[d] the wonders of the forest". (GAME: Worlds Apart [+]Doctor Who card games (Reality+, 2021).)
