Wira was a Koturian servant for Lord Evris Makshi. She was young, had blonde hair with blue streaks, and had not passed her prime for Phasing.
She was assigned to help Peri Brown dress for the wedding of her boss's son, Jonos. Along with Peri, she was captured by the First Rani and trapped in a sizing force field until Sixth Doctor rescued them. Wira's remarks to Peri and the Doctor indicated that she had romantic feelings for Jonos, but because of their class differences, she never acted on them. The Doctor admonished Evris for his classist reaction to the possibility of Jonos one day marrying Wira. (PROSE: Something Borrowed)
