William Pike was the paternal grandfather of Harry Pike, (TV: The Last Precinct) and the great-grandfather of Darius Pike.
On 23 November 1963, while working as a cab driver, he was accused by Inspector Barker of being a Russian spy after secret documents were discovered in his cab. He was saved from being sent to prison, which would have resulted in Darius being erased from history, by K9, Starkey and Jorjie, Darius' friends who came from the year 2050, who succeeded in proving his innocence.
