Will Kempe was an actor in William Shakespeare's plays Love's Labour's Lost and its sequel, Love's Labour's Won, where he played Costard. He and Richard Burbage saw a Carrionite in the Globe Theatre in 1599 and agreed not to mention the incident lest they end up in Bedlam Royal Hospital. (TV: The Shakespeare Code)
