Worldbuilding[]

  • According to Amos, "two hammy actors equal one crummy performance" is Burke's law. After solving the case, he also defines it as not "turn[ing] a blind eye to murder".
  • Ferretti suggests that Nelson was a blackmailer because he always had more money than was earned from his acting.
  • Amos reasons that Nelson was shot by a silenced gun.
  • Ferretti left a trail of blue paint all over the theatre, implicating him in the killing. Peggy told Amos over the phone that her shoes were covered in it, conclusively solving the case.
