Where Nobody Knows Your Name was a Doctor Who Magazine comic strip. It saw the Eighth Doctor travelling alone and the cameo return of former companion, Frobisher.
Summary
The Eighth Doctor is in a bar chatting to barman Bish, unaware he is opening up to an old friend...

- The Doctor says that the last time he properly laughed was when he was threatened by an Ice Warrior who had a lisp.
- Many of the bar patrons resemble Earth animals. Creeby resembles a fly, Jokk an ape and an unnamed character resembles an elephant.
Notes
- Following the departure of Izzy Sinclair, this is the first of six stories in which the Doctor travels alone.
- This comic story was reprinted in The Flood graphic novel.
- The title is a reference to "Where Everybody Knows Your Name," the theme song to the American sitcom Cheers, which takes place in a bar.
Continuity
- Frobisher is an ex-companion of the Doctor. He left to live on the planet A-Lux in DWM: A Cold Day in Hell. He uses the alias Bish whilst in a more humanoid form.
