Vivian Adeola (died 2016) (TV: The Lost) was the widowed mother of Tanya. She was originally from Nigeria and Tanya found her discipline difficult to live with. Her husband Jasper died from a stroke in 2014.

She had knee problems and often had migraines.

In 2016, she wouldn't let 14-year-old (TV: The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo) Tanya go to the prom, because despite her having advanced two years academically, she was still too young to go dancing with boys. Vivian eventually allowed her daughter to go, because she told her it'd help with a school assignment for sociology. As a result, Tanya would have to write a paper on it. She prohibited Tanya from approaching the old stone house but refused to explain why. After Tanya went to the house anyway and went missing, Vivian wanted to charge Miss Quill with kidnapping, but April MacLean talked her out of it. (PROSE: The Stone House)
