Vega Nexos and Eckersley were Galactic Federation mining engineers stationed on Peladon.
Biography[]
Vega Nexos came from the planet Vega, and his people (presumably Vegans) were, according to Nexos, a "practical race of mining engineers". He viewed the native Peladonian miners as "superstitious primitives" for their fear of Aggedor. He believed that Ettis saw enemy spies from Galaxy 5, sent to Peladon to cause trouble.
He was killed by what appeared to be the spirit of Aggedor, but was actually Eckersley's heat ray device. (TV: The Monster of Peladon)
