Uno is a series of card games which began with the original Uno. It has gone on to gain various alternate versions, such as Uno Flip! and Uno Spin, video game adaptations, and various licensed collaborations with different series to produce games such as Uno Minecraft and Uno Spin One Piece.

The series was originally developed in 1971 by Merle Robbins, and was later developed under International Games. This company was later acquired by Mattel.

Collaboration[]

Doctor Who Uno

Doctor Who Uno.

An official collaboration between Uno and Doctor Who was released in 2007, simply titled Doctor Who Uno. This collaboration featured new card art using official photographs of elements from the 2005 revival series, such as the Tenth Doctor, the Slitheen, and the Empress of the Racnoss. In addition to these, the release came with a unique wild card, titled "Exterminate", which causes the player with the least cards to need to draw 4, unless they decide to challenge the person who laid the card: if the player who laid the card could have played a card of the then-current colour, they instead need to draw 4; if they indeed couldn't have gone, the player who challenged must draw 6 instead. The full game was contained within a unique 3D case modelled after a Bronze Dalek.
