The Tri-Colour cafe was a coffee shop that was used in Edward Waterfield's plot to kidnap the Second Doctor for the Daleks.

On 20 July 1966, Waterfield had Kennedy leave a box of matches from the cafe on the ledge of an abandoned warehouse window to lead the Doctor to the cafe. He then had Keith Perry, one of his employees, go to the cafe to meet with the Doctor.

The Doctor and Jamie McCrimmon discovered the matches on the window and went to the cafe and met with Perry, who told them to meet him at Waterfield's antique shop at 10 PM. (TV: The Evil of the Daleks)
