Buzz Lightyear and Forky, characters from the series, have both been referenced in the Doctor Who universe, albeit without anything to connect them to Toy Story.
In the production credits for issue 286 of Doctor Who Adventures, in which each member of staff were listed in the credits alongside their "favourite cowboy", designer Philip White's favourite was listed as Woody, one of the series' main characters.
Connections[]
- Wayne Knight appeared in Toy Story 2 as the voice of Al McWhiggin. He also voiced Emperor Zurg in the television series, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.
- Also in the Star Command series, David Warner voiced Lord Angstrom. Frank Welker, Dan Castellaneta, and Tom Kane also voiced various characters.
- Tara Strong appeared in both Star Command as the voice of Bonnie, and also as a computer in the TV special, Toy Story of Terror.
- Timothy Dalton appeared in both Toy Story 3 and Toy Story 4 as the voice of Mr. Pricklepants. He reprised the role in some of the various shorts and TV specials that followed. In the streaming series, Forky Asks A Question, he was instead voiced by Robin Atkin Downes.
- Traveller's Tales took part in the development of four Toy Story video games.
