After head teacher Frank Armitage was killed by a male Leaf Dragon, (TV: The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo) Mr Moore was allocated a good chunk of head teacher's responsibilities until a replacement would be found.
One Tuesday in October 2016, he had to sort out an incident with what appeared to be Amar Sai, who apparently tried to jump off the roof of the school. Unbeknownst to Toby, this was actually Viola in control of Amar. Mr Moore was confused by the bizarre situation. When Miss Quill tried to force the answers out of this Viola in Amar's body to find Ram Singh, who was missing, Mr Moore interceded, protesting that she could not attack students. He threatened to start disciplinary proceedings against her, but, with Amar returned to his body during the conversation without any memory of what happened, he lacked witnesses to prove any wrongdoing.
