Ricketts as he appeared on CON: Look Who's Talking

Tim Ricketts has been the primary dubbing mixer for the BBC Wales version of Doctor Who since Rose. He has also provided the same service on several episodes of Torchwood, including the entirety of Children of Earth and several episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures. He has been both an interviewee and dubbing mixer for Doctor Who Confidential — making him one of only a few DWC crew members on both sides of the camera, along with Russell T Davies and Julie Gardner.

Ricketts has had a long career in dubbing which extends back to at least the 1980s. Outside the Doctor Who universe, he has most recently lent his talents to such productions as Toby Whithouse's Being Human and Stephen Fry's documentary series, Last Chance to See.

He has won five Welsh BAFTA awards since 1994. His work on Midnight won not just a Welsh BAFTA, but also a Royal Television Society Award, which he shared with Julian Howarth, Paul McFadden and Paul Jefferies. He has had a particularly long working relationship with Jefferies, with whom he's shared every BAFTA he's won.
