Thunderbird Two was a short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, the titular article instead made reference to the Thunderbirds content in the issue with a smaller piece tying-in to the The Daleks comic story The Rogue Planet.

- Since Thunderbird 1 arrived in Kenya and joined the search for Doctor Adams, every correspondent is asking the question of if Thunderbird 2 has crashed.
- According to a radio monitoring system, the pilot of Thunderbird 1 requested TB 2's assistance, and the call was acknowledged by International Rescue's base but since then nothing has been heard.
- Although Thunderbird 3 could be used to transport the rescue machines to different operations if TB 2 has crashed, it would not be as efficient or as flexible.
- International Rescue report that modifications are being made on pods carried by Thunderbird 2 with it being understood that these modifications are to do with animal cages.
- The Dalek Emperor has ordered an emergency squad into space to intercept the rogue planet and attempt to turn its course.

- This story marked the first time the Thunderbirds series intersected with The Daleks in a cover story. However, it was not the first occasion the Thunderbirds franchise did so as that distinction went to the several earlier crossovers with the Lady Penelope comic strip.
