Thosis was a moon onto which a spaceship crashed, leading it to be known as the "Moon of Lost Hope". Thosis had an atmosphere humans could breathe. The surface was covered by an aggressive form of mud that sought out and consumed anything non-organic by extending tentacle-like threads into the air. (COMIC: The Moon of Lost Hope)
