Spoilers aren't cool here.
(Try The Howling, instead.)

This page lists appearances of the Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, Twelfth, and Thirteenth Doctors from TV: The Curse of Fatal Death in the order in which they experienced them. This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories. From these observations we have attempted to build a concise timeline. It is assumed, much like its TV story counterparts that for each novel, comic story and audio series their published/numbered order is the order they occur in. This does not apply to short stories which are often ambiguous about their placement. There are also many gaps between stories.

Limiting factors[]

The Doctor as seen in TV: The Curse of Fatal Death has a linear timeline, as each incarnation after the Ninth regenerates in near-succession. Despite this "branch" of Doctors being distinct from the branches as seen onwards from NOTVALID: Scream of the Shalka and TV: Rose, it is established that this branch is one of several that came after Paul McGann's Eighth Doctor.

A new body[]

At the end of one account of the Time War, the Eighth Doctor regenerates.

Falling in love[]

The Ninth Doctor writes a letter in which he details his knowledge of a Comic Relief TV special which depicts a version of his adventures.
By this time, the Ninth Doctor had fallen in love with Emma and had several run-ins with his contemporary incarnation of the Master. (TV: The Curse of Fatal Death)
On Tersurus, the Ninth Doctor tells his audience to donate money via a telephone number.

Death[]

The Doctor and Emma travel to Tersurus where they encounter the Master and the Daleks. This incarnation is killed by a Dalek.

Tenth Doctor[]

After the Ninth Doctor regenerates, the Tenth Doctor lives only for a brief period before being killed while attempting to fix the Daleks' broken zectronic beam.

Eleventh Doctor[]

After the Tenth Doctor regenerates, the Eleventh Doctor only lives for a short time before his demise due to an explosion.

Twelfth Doctor[]

The Twelfth Doctor lives for an extremely short time before he is killed by a stray shot of zectronic energy.

Thirteenth Doctor[]

After her previous incarnation's unexpected regeneration, the Thirteenth Doctor separates from Emma, and instead goes off with the reformed Master.

Fighting in the War in Heaven[]

During the War in Heaven, the Thirteenth Doctor finds herself in a concentration camp on Earth, among inmates from BBC sitcoms. She and Captain Mainwaring eventually lead a suicidal assault upon the Enemy.
