500 years after the Neutronic War, not the Thousand Year War, and generations before Planet of the Daleks.
50 "cycles" after The Daleks; The Daleks want to learn the secrets of space & time travel and Thals are still on Skaro
The Daleks have not yet developed space travel & Davros discusses how the First Doctor's visit shifted the timelines.
Led by the Dalek Prime, the Daleks force the Thals to evacuate Skaro. (PROSE: The History of the Daleks)
Before crashing on the planet Vulcan, a Dalek spacecraft makes a failed attempt to transmit a distress signal to Skaro. (AUDIO: The Dalek Conquests, TV: The Power of the Daleks)
In the wake of the 2150s Dalek invasion of Earth, the Black Dalek's ship returns to Skaro. (PROSE: The History of the Daleks, The Dalek Invasion of Earth)
On Skaro, the destruction of the first Dalek time machine is noted. (PROSE: The History of the Daleks, TV: The Chase)
The Thals seize Skaro in a successful assault which destroys the Dalek presence on the planet. (PROSE: The History of the Daleks)
The Master arrives on Skaro and addresses the Dalek Supreme Council, leading to Operation Divide and Conquer in 2540. (PROSE: Dalek: The Astounding Untold History of the Greatest Enemies of the Universe, TV: Frontier in Space)
During the 2540 Spiridon campaign, the Thals are based on Skaro. (TV: Planet of the Daleks)
The Daleks reclaim Skaro and force the surviving Thals to retreat to space. (PROSE: The History of the Daleks)
The Daleks are developing time travel. Skaro exists. The Daleks are unaware of the Time Lords.
Set 300 years after The Evil of the Daleks; Skaro was sent out of time following the Dalek Civil War and is now back.
"Thousands of years" after the Daleks were created, Davros is awakened and later put in suspended animation. Neverland mentions the year 4949 in relation to the Dalek-Movellan War as recorded in the Matrix on Gallifrey.
The Dalek defeat in the Movellan War forces the Dalek Prime to fall back to Skaro. (PROSE: The History of the Daleks)
The Daleks, based on Skaro and led by a Dalek Emperor, execute the Master, and allow the Seventh Doctor to take his remains to Gallifrey. War of the Daleks confirms that this occurs before Skaro's destruction in Remembrance of the Daleks.
Foreshadows Remembrance, Davros' torso is cut, leading to the last vestige of his humanoid form in Remembrance.
The Doctor rhetorically states that the Supreme Dalek is a "thousand years" from Skaro. The Doctor is remembered as the "Destroyer of Skaro" in Twice Upon a Time by Testimony. According to one account, the destruction of Skaro occurs twenty millennia following the end of the final conflict between the Thals and the Kaleds. (PROSE: Remembrance of the Daleks)
Follows Remembrance. Skaro survives according to the Dalek Prime but his plan appears unlikely and there are alternate possibilities to Skaro's fate.
Anticipating the coming of the Last Great Time War, the Dalek Emperor assembles the Cult of Skaro.

Post-Time War[]

Following the Time War, the Cult of Skaro claims that Skaro is "gone, destroyed in a great war". (TV: Daleks in Manhattan) In fact, the planet remains intact but "ruined". (GAME: City of the Daleks)
Acquiring the Eye of Time, the New Dalek Paradigm return to and rebuild Skaro. Led by a new Dalek Emperor, they exterminate humanity in 1963 but are confronted by the Eleventh Doctor, who destroys the Daleks and restores history, leaving the planet in ruins once again.
While Skaro is in ruins and has been abandoned, the Prime Minister rules the Parliament of the Daleks.
Davros says that he and the Daleks rebuilt Skaro. In old footage of Davros's and the Doctor's battles, Remembrance is shown.
In the far future, Skaro finally implodes as a result of the Daleks' abuse.
