This page lists appearances of Queen Elizabeth I in the order in which she experienced them. This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories. From these observations we have attempted to build a concise timeline. It is assumed that for each novel, comic or television series, their published, broadcast or numbered order is the order they occur in.

1559 - Queen Elizabeth I is coronated: 'You show much wisdom, Master Dee; never have I seen such great knowledge, never indeed since my coronation in 1559. There I met another man, a doctor of physic and other such things.' (PROSE: Birthright)
DOCTOR: I'm not English. Elizabeth, will you marry me?
ELIZABETH: Oh, my dear sweet love. Of course I will.
DOCTOR: England, 1562.
ELIZABETH: I may have the body of a weak and feeble woman, but I have the heart and stomach of a King.

ELIZABETH: Good. Give it no more thought. We found it very amusing. Tell me, have any plans to write a further play on him?
SHAKESPEARE: No.
ELIZABETH: That's a pity. But it does not matter. We have idea which may be of service. You shall write a play of Falstaff in love.

DOCTOR: Queen Elizabeth the First!
ELIZABETH: Doctor? My sworn enemy. Off with his head!
