Tardis

Spoilers are precisely defined here. Rules vary by the story's medium. Info from television stories can't be added here until after the top or bottom of the hour, British time, closest to the end credits roll on BBC One. Therefore, fans in the Americas who are sensitive to spoilers should avoid Tardis on Sundays until they've seen the episode.

Spoilers aren't cool here.
(Try The Howling, instead.)

This page lists appearances of the Kotturuh in the order in which they experienced them. This timeline is based upon observations of the Doctor Who universe and the events that occur during each of these stories. From these observations we have attempted to build a concise timeline. It is assumed, much like its TV story counterparts that for each novel or audio series their published/numbered order is the order they occur in. This does not apply to short stories which are often ambiguous about their placement. There are also many gaps between stories.

Early years[]

This section of the timeline is common to both the original timeline and the one following the Tenth Doctor's involvement.

The Kotturuh make their first judgement and reduce the lifespan of the inhabitants of the planet Birinji.
Inyit turns against her fellow Kotturuh during the judgement of Birinji, sparking a war among the Kotturuh.
The Kotturuh continue making judgements and spreading death throughout the Dark Times.

The original timeline[]

In a version of the timeline where the Tenth Doctor didn't get involved, the Kotturuh continue to exist into the Doctor's era, still spreading death. (DWM 556, PROSE: The Knight, The Fool and The Dead, AUDIO: The Enemy of My Enemy)

The new timeline[]

In a version of the timeline where the Tenth Doctor attempted to prevent death, the Kotturuh are wiped out.

The Tenth Doctor releases a necrotic virus which begins wiping out the Kotturuh.
A single ship of Kotturuh are seeking a way to survive the Doctor’s death sentence.
The last Kotturuh are killed by the Dalek Time Squad, leaving only Inyit who succumbs to the Doctor’s death sentence after judging the Dalek Symbiont.
