The Zen Military - A History of UNIT was a book written by Kadiatu Lethbridge-Stewart and published in 2006. It revealed that UNIT had its roots in the Intrusion Countermeasures Group. (PROSE: Remembrance of the Daleks [+]Ben Aaronovitch, adapted from Remembrance of the Daleks (Ben Aaronovitch), Target novelisations (Target Books, 1990)., Christmas on a Rational Planet [+]Lawrence Miles, Virgin New Adventures (Virgin Books, 1996).) Hamster mentioned the book and its author in his opinion piece "Take Me Down To Paradise Towers": Reclaiming Kroagnon: Democratic accountability and the Defence of the Past, published in the Journal of Presentism and Transtemporal Mendacity, but was unable to mention the author by name "pending litigation".
