This audio drama was recorded on 21 October 2008 at the Moat Studios.
The story was initially released as a download on the Big Finish website on 2 and 9 May 2009, and was later broadcast on BBC Radio 7 from 13 to 20 June 2010.
According to behind-the-scenes commentary, the Theatre des Baroques was based on the real world theatre Grand Guignol.
