Doctor Who: The Runaway is a virtual reality video game created by the BBC. It features the Thirteenth Doctor voiced by Jodie Whittaker in the TARDIS, taking the individual Player on an adventure.
The game was released on 16 May 2019 in two versions: An interactive version with a runtime of 13 minutes on Oculus Store and Vive Port for use on Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, and a 360 degree version onBBC VR App for use on Oculus Go and GearVR.[1]
Jo Pearce, creative director for the BBC's digital drama team, says:
