[[Andy Hansen]] decides to use [[Erimem]]'s time travel rings to go back to the day her mother died from [[cancer]]. Erimem insists on going with Andy and the two end up in an alley and make their way to the hospital, just in time to see the Andy of three years earlier leave her mother's room. Andy recalls that a few hours later her past self will receive a call, informing her that her mother passed away. Andy walks into her mother's room, sits with her, and holds her hands. Andy's mother tries to speak to her, but cannot make audible words. She passes away and Andy and Erimem leave before the nurses can find them in the room. While leaving, Andy witnesses her father arrive at the hospital and leave without going inside. She recalls that her father soon abandoned her and her brother and shortly thereafter was found dead, but she lied when she was asked to identify his body because she didn't think her [[Matt Hansen|brother]] could handle losing two parents in such a short amount of time.
