The Official Doctor Who Podcast is a podcast series features discussion on the latest Doctor Who episodes, with each presenter giving their thoughts and opinions on various topics. For the 60th Anniversary Specials and the 2023 Christmas Special the podcast was hosted by Tyrell Charles, Juno Dawson and Christel Dee. However, in 2024 for the start of Season 1 (Series 14) the hosts 'regenerated', the show is currently hosted by Nadia Jae and Shabaz Ali. Each episode contains ore-recorded clips, behind the scenes information and teasers for upcoming episodes from showrunner Russell T Davies. A special episode recorded live at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 was hosted by Krystina Arielle, as the 'American correspondent'. For a special episode, that was put on YouTube a week before the 2024 Christmas special, Tyrell Charles and Krystina Arielle returned. This episode also included an interview with Steven Moffat and a new format.
Each episode was released simultaneously on various platforms including BBC Sounds, Apple Podcasts and Spotify, with a video version released on YouTube.

The series was promoted via a trailer released on 22 November 2023,[1][2] along with an announcement on doctorwho.tv on 23 November 2023.[3]
