"The Miniaturist" was the name given by Dodo Chaplet to an ancient interdimensional creature that rested in the Zechstein Mine. She took on the appearance of an older Dodo to Dodo. She had the ability to make things smaller, including bridges and people, as well as the TARDIS. She was in pain but eh noise of the different dimensions.[statement unclear] She asked the First Doctor to join her in her travels, trying to use his memories of Dodo, Susan Foreman and Vicki Pallister, but he declined.
