This topic might have a better name.
Why shouldn't this page be named Paul Smith? Many robots have names. Even non-sentient robots can be given names. What is the evidence that Paul Smith was not his name?

The Inspector was a robot, labelled as the property of the Governors, who was sent to Coal Hill Academy to evaluate Miss Quill under the guise of an Ofsted inspector named Paul Smith. His Ofsted nametag would expire on 24 March 2017. He was destroyed by the skin-peeling dragon, revealing his true nature to Quill. (TV: The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo)
