"The Greatest Story Never Told" was a piece of music written by Murray Gold for Doctor Who Series 4. It was used during two moments in Forest of the Dead: specifically, when the Doctor figures out how everyone was "saved", and, most notably, during River's sacrifice. A variation of this piece was used in the opening scene of The End of Time.
