The Eleventh Doctor's gang was a small gang created by the Eleventh Doctor to explore the Silurian Ark in the year 2367. (TV: Dinosaurs on a Spaceship)
History[]
After saving Egypt from giant alien locusts in 1334 BC, the Doctor departed for the year 2367 with Queen Nefertiti where he learned of a giant spaceship that was approaching Earth and would be destroyed by the Indian Space Agency if it wasn't stopped. The size of the task caused the Doctor to realise that he and Nefertiti alone couldn't handle it so he decided to assemble a gang to investigate.
Travelling through time, the Doctor recruited big game hunter John Riddell from Africa in 1902 and Amy Pond and Rory Williams in the 21st century. However, when the Doctor picked up Amy and Rory, he materialised the TARDIS around them, inadvertently picking up Rory's father Brian Williams as well.
On board the ship, the gang discovered its true nature as a Silurian Ark that was carrying dinosaurs. To their horror, they found that the Silurian crew had been killed by Solomon who wished to sell the dinosaurs for profit. With time running out and in danger from both Solomon and the ISA missiles, the gang undertook to save the dinosaurs on the ship which led to Nefertiti being kidnapped by Solomon as an alternative prize.
Ultimately, Rory and Brian were able to use the fact that they were father and son and thus had the same gene-chain to fly the ship safely away from Earth. As Amy and Riddell stunned several attacking velociraptors with Silurian weapons, the Doctor rescued Nefertiti from Solomon and placed the Silurian Ark's signal device aboard Solomon's ship. As a result, the missiles diverted from the Ark and destroyed Solomon and his ship instead.
With the threat stopped, the gang disbanded and the Doctor returned Amy, Rory and Riddell to their own times. Nefertiti decided to join Riddell in Africa in 1902 while Brian joined the Doctor in taking the dinosaurs to their new home on Siluria. (TV: Dinosaurs on a Spaceship)
