Additional notes[]
- The Doctor is referred to throughout as "Dr Who" or "Doctor", and the TARDIS is referred to as simply "Tardis".
- The cover and internal illustrations were by Walter Howarth.
- Like other contemporary “Annuals”, this publication was commissioned, written and illustrated during the first half of 1966, before it was known that William Hartnell was to leave the series. As a result, the annual features the First Doctor, despite being published (in September 1966) barely a month before the television debut of Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor.
