The Da Vinci Code

The Da Vinci Code was a book which the Doctor claimed to be involved with.

History[]

In early 2005, the Ninth Doctor read a copy of The Da Vinci Code in a Smiths, laughing at the book. He later, whilst serving fried eggs at a staff canteen, claimed that the Da Vinci Code was his idea. These events were witnessed by Dwayne Pipe and Treadstone71, respectively. (PROSE: Have You Seen This Man?)

The Da Vinci Code was one of the books in the Prison library. When a fire occurred in the library, the book was sucked off the asteroid by the Vacuum Protocols and hung in space between The Woman in White and Shall We Tell the President? (PROSE: The Blood Cell)

Alternate timelines[]

In world that never was, (TV: The Wedding of River Song) Da Vinci teased more "Code" on social media. (PROSE: Just a Minute...)

Behind the scenes[]

  • The Da Vinci Code was adapted into a feature film which featured a number of cast members from Doctor Who and its spin-offs. It also starred potential Eighth Doctor actor Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon.
