Terrence Hardiman (born 6 April 1937[1]) played Hawthorne in the Doctor Who television story The Beast Below. In audio, he has also voiced several characters for various Doctor Who stories and spin-offs.
Hardiman is perhaps best remembered as the eponymous character with otherworldly hypnotic powers in the 1990s children's drama series The Demon Headmaster (1996-98).
He is married to Rowena Cooper.
