The Terpsivores were an old Betelgusian species who looked like sixty foot long centipedes. They gained their power through dance. Their technology included a Terpsivore Controller which could travel across seven galaxies and transport people. These spaceships resembled dance floors and were powered by dance. Terpsivores could induce hypnosis through weird techno-style music. Their spaceships travelled by translocating into hyperspace and also had self-destruct settings.
