Biography
Tegan joined the Doctor on February 28, 1981. While she was on her way to Heathrow to start a new job with Air Australia, one of her cars tires got a puncture. She entered the TARDIS, thinking it was an actual police box. The Master devised a plan to trap the Doctor and in the process of carrying it out killed Tegan's aunt Vanessa with his Tissue Compression Eliminator. (DW: Logopolis). Tegan trusts the Doctor implicity and stays to help him on Logopolis even when the Docotor has told her to go with Adric and Nyssa in the TARDIS. Tegan is very confident and is not afraid to argue with many of the monsters she encounters after she chooses to travel with the Doctor. In Earthshock she even risks her life to retreive a cyber gun. In Resurrection of the Daleks she decides to stop travelling with the Doctor after she is injured and reilises it is only a matter of time until she would be killed if she continued.
She also had a cousin named Robin Stuart. (DW: Arc of Infinity)
She became very good friends with Nyssa and was distraught after Adric's death and Nyssa's leaving the TARDIS crew.
