Taylor Addison was a human who studied at the Prydonian College at the Gallifreyan Academy.

Biography[]

Taylor lived on Earth before moving to Gallifrey to study at the Prydonian College. There, he befriended Neeloc, Galadina, B'arech and K'arel. He found Valyes and his inaugural speech patronising and asked Leela about her experience as an outsider on the planet. Because of his species, xenophobic bullies trashed his data pad and tore up his books in the refectory.

Worried about the potential repercussions, Taylor was against speaking to Valyes about K'arel after her expulsion. He initially disavowed B'arech's plan to find the Great Key of Rassilon, saying that he sounded like a "Free Time loon", but Andred subtly encouraged him and, after Valyes announced that dormitories would be segregated, he agreed to join B'arech and Galadina.

Once B'arech was called home and Taylor was attacked by Time Lord students for his choice of friends, Andred told Taylor that one man could change the world. Taylor then went into the Vaults in search of the Great Key, recording a message on his data pad as he ventured on. He entered the Eye of Harmony and died, his body being turned inside out as he did not have the Rod, Sash or Great Key. (AUDIO: Insurgency)

Legacy[]

Before Taylor's body was to be returned to Earth, a funeral was held for him on Gallifrey where Valyes made a speech about "misguided youths". Neeloc, not wanting Taylor's family to believe what the Time Lords would inevitably tell them, decided to go to Earth to tell them the truth before exploring the universe like the Doctor. (AUDIO: Insurgency)
