Tetrap "DiscContinuity Guide" misnamed[]
I notice that both here, and on various wiki pages where it's referenced via Template:tetrap, the tetrap.com link is referenced as the "Tetrap Discontinuity Guide" or "Tetrapyriarbus - The DisContinuity Guide", using basically the same name as all of the other forms/sources of "discontinuity guide"-style reference over the decades.
But that's never been its name. While I can't speculate on the reasons why it would be so, the wayback machine archives prove that basically since its inception — going at least as far back as December 2001 — the tetrap.com guide has always been named the DiscContinuity Guide. (Note the second 'c' in the prefix: "disc-", not "dis-", followed by "continuity".)
I'll correct the mention here, and in Template:tetrap presuming it isn't protected. But I wanted to also point out the difference here, as something other editors may want to keep an eye out for in the future. FeRDNYC ☎ 08:46, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
- The template is protected, so if someone with rights could update Template:tetrap to read "DiscContinuity Guide" instead of "DisContinuity Guide", that'd be helpful. An IP user actually mentioned this at Template talk:tetrap back in 2013, but it doesn't appear that was ever noticed, much less acted upon. (Of course, this post may suffer the same fate.)
