Counter to proposed rename[]
The rename tag on this page has been up for quite a while now, but no discussion's occurred concerning it. Personally, however, I'd actually advocate against a separate page for the Dalek Scientists of the New Dalek Paradigm, because they're effectively the same as the standard Dalek Scientists; the only difference is that the Paradigm Scientists have distinct casings. If we were to make a page specifically for the Paradigm Scientists, don't we then have to make separate pages for the other Dalek Scientists based on the different Dalek Empires they're a part of (e.g. Dalek Scientist (Restoration Empire))? How would we identify different Empires for different Scientists?
And although some would argue that a page distinctly for the Paradigm Scientists is justified, given that pages such as Supreme Dalek (New Dalek Paradigm) and Drone Dalek (New Dalek Paradigm) exist, but I'd argue that these pages also don't merit separation from Supreme Dalek or Dalek drone, because they're simply describing the Supremes and the Drones of the New Dalek Paradigm; again, they're making a distinction based purely on their appearance. I don't see why the Paradigm Scientists should get their own page, nor do I understand why the Paradigm Supremes and Drones already have their own pages. For that same reasoning, I also don't think Strategist Dalek should be altered to distinct between the Paradigm Dalek Strategists and their non-Paradigm counterparts, when the two are just the same thing.
