Can someone who knows how to edit this page properly please add the region 1 & 4 Blu-ray releases of the Waters of Mars and the End of Time. They were released on the same days as their DVD versions (region 1 - 2 Feb 2010 for both, region 4 - 4 Feb 2010 WoM, 4 Mar 2010 EoT). Also region 4 got a 3 June 2010 Blu-ray release of The Next Doctor. PS Just because region 2 never got these releases does not mean we shouldn't list them. The DVD list includes two items not available in region 2 (the original 2002 Key to Time release and the Complete David Tennant Years). 165.228.203.166 05:43, September 30, 2011 (UTC)

Torchwood[]

As part of the Torchwood: Series 1-4 box set, the contained Series 1 and 2 were repackaged in standard Blu-ray cases and given new BBCBD Cat numbers (0198 and 0299 respectively according to my set - though the S2 code might actually be 0199). Is this notable to be added to this table, and if so, how should it be represented?     ǝsʞpɐןǝ  (talk page)  15:12, 23 July 2013

Ultraviolet releases[]

Does anyone have a list of the episodes that have been released to UV, and how they were offered? You guys should also have that article on the wikia, since it is inevitable things will all to go digital streaming/download releases. Thanks. - RaptorWiki (Ryan) 13:26, May 21, 2016 (UTC)

The inclusion of an Ultraviolet copy has turned out to be a rather short-lived feature. It was only included on the Series 7 box sets (Part 1, Part 2, and Complete Series). Probably worth a reference in this article, but not as a page of it's own.     ǝsʞpɐןǝ  (talk page)  19:45, 17 June 2018

New Zealand releases[]

In recent years, it appears NZ release dates have drifted compared to that of Australia. While this has happened one or two times in the past due to difference in broadcast dates, this new trend since 2017 doesn't appear to be broadcast related.

I'm struggling to find much information on NZ releases at all to be honest. There are a handful of recent releases on JBHifi NZ, which highlight the differing dates, but also indicate that some releases haven't made it to Blu-ray at all (Series 10: Parts 1 & 2 for example). We could really do with a NZ resident who can confirm what releases actually exist, and their dates.

Regarding the article itself, if this trend continues, separate columns for Australia and NZ may be required.     ǝsʞpɐןǝ  (talk page)  15:05, 27 September 2018

Davison Stories With Surviving Film Footage[]

"As for classic-era Doctor Who, the only stories that can be released in this medium with a true 1080p transfer are Spearhead from Space, and the version of Shada compiled in 2017. Both of these stories were affected by studio technician strikes, meaning that only the on-location scenes (recorded using a film camera) were shot. The entirety of Spearhead from Space was shot on location to produce a completed story, while Shada was abandoned (and completed in 2017 using animation). The 16mm film negatives from these shoots were re-scanned especially for their high definition BD releases."

So why can Shada be released with a true 1080p transfer, and not, for instance, The Visitation (moot point as it is due out soon)? Both are a mixture of VT and film. The location film for both stories survives to this day. And why would the writer of this think that only the "on-location scenes" for Shada were shot?165.225.76.55talk to me 10:06, October 11, 2018 (UTC)

Pyramids Of Mars[]

There's no mention of Pyramids of Mars in the article, the whole story is included in SJA season 4.165.225.76.55talk to me 16:22, October 11, 2018 (UTC)
