Rename[]

This is a trailer for the promotion of a release. Not a webcast. --DCLM 19:25, April 16, 2019 (UTC)

I dunno. Isn't a trailer also a webcast if it is, indeed, webcast rather than broadcast? --Scrooge MacDuck 11:14, September 3, 2019 (UTC)

Validity[]

Do we treat the storyline-part of this trailer as in-universe continuity, or is the whole thing considered BTS-material (out-of-universe)? --DCLM 20:48, April 16, 2019 (UTC)

I don't think it would be fair to call this BTS material; it's obviously not. However, I'm fairly sure that by current Wiki policy, it is invalid in-universe material because trailers aren't valid; it indeed bears the invalid tag, at the moment. There is a thread moving to change that in the cases of trailers composed of newly-created stand-alone narrative material such as this, though. --Scrooge MacDuck 11:14, September 3, 2019 (UTC)
Due to how we treat 24 Carat (webcast) and Jo Grant vs the Autons... Again?! (webcast), with the story being valid and the trailer material evidently being invalid, wouldn't that make this page valid? It would be unfair to treat this page differently. TheFartyDoctor Talk 01:18, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
Well, if you want to give it the same treatment as 24 Carat, we need to have material evidence that the short is to be considered its own thing, separate from the trailer material packaged in the same video. Is there any quote to this effect? Is there an official title for the short itself, distinct from the YouTube video that also considers the trailer material? Scrooge MacDuck 01:21, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
Challenge accepted. :D TheFartyDoctor Talk 01:32, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
