" ...the original intent of the specials was that they were free with home delivery of DWM. " Having received the DWM since DWM 1 I am not aware that this has ever been the case. The inclusion of Specials as an option for Subscribers to add on I believe came came after a subscription service had been launched and when the Specials became more regular. Besides the question is raised would a subscriber want an issue featuring reprints which formed the basis of the early specials already having the material?
