Primary topic?[]
This page is clearly a primary topic now as the concept of other Dalek Time Strategists has long since been abandoned. As such this page could potentially be renamed without a dab term and Dalek Time Strategist be moved to Dalek Time Strategist (Dalek variant) or Dalek Time Strategist (variant). - I agree with you. The Time Strategist "rank" only appears in The Monster of Montmartre and Master of the Daleks, whereas the Time Strategist "individual" has featured heavily in much of Big Finish's Time War audios since The War Doctor: Agents of Chaos. It's kind of become, as you say, the primary topic, over the Time Strategist species. Although I'd say any sort of rename for the species should be Dalek Time Strategist (rank), or at least whatever's the standard for pages on Dalek sub-variants. - That's a good point. I just went with variant, as that was the name of Category:Dalek variants but I notice Dalek Prime (rank) is the only precedent we have here. Although I also note that Category:Dalek ranks is a subcategory of Category:Dalek variants, with the Time Strategist only being placed in the former. So perhaps it would be inaccurate to describe Time Strategist as a rank? I'm unsure as to the evidence surrounding the placement (or not) in either category, at this stage, so I'm hesitant to draw any conclusions. Danochy ☎ 08:28, 29 June 2021 (UTC)
- Actually, now that you mention it, it would be more accurate to refer to Dalek Time Strategists as a variant, rather than a rank, as The Monster of Montmartre establishes that the Dalek Time Strategists are a Dalek variant genetically engineered by the Dalek Time Controller (the same also applies to the individual Time Strategist), so it would be more accurate to use the name Dalek Time Strategist (variant) over Dalek Time Strategist (rank).
