This page describes the doctor meeting Amy and Rory, for the first time after giving them their house in series 6, for dinner at the end of The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe , starting series 7. This must be a mistake because Rory and Amy were lost in the past from this point on earlier in the year when they took a trip to 2012 Manhattan and were unable to return to the present with the doctor. I'm not sure if this was placed here because Amy or someone says its been two years after the end of series 6 (so 2011). So 2 years aside there would have to be at least one year were the doctor does not show up for Christmas, 2011 at least after series 6. The earliest he could show up would be Christmas 2012. Problem is, the year of the slow invasion has already begun by then according to the 2012 page which the doctor was present right at the start of, visible to the Ponds. Making his Christmas 2012 return too late. So it definitely cant be 2013 or 2012 that he returns at the end of The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe as he's already been back in the Pond's lives for what seems to be all of series 7 part 1 by Christmas 2013. My best guess would be that he returned Christmas 2012 and the year of the slow invasion begun in mabye early 2013 and ended early 2014. With a 2014 Amy and Rory being lost to the Angels n a trip back to 2012 Manhattan. Its not too much trouble to have two 11th doctors running around London in 2013 with two different companions, (they are the same series just different parts, London is big.) The Question is, where are all the cubes during the Day of the Doctor mid 2013? I could happily ignore this as Kate thinking "the cubes haven't done anything for the past however many months, its fine lets just keep watching them, we have more pressing issues like the paintings and eventually Zygons. Oh you have a new companion Doctor? Where's Amy and Rory?" The doctor would know Amy and Rory are still at home because they haven't travelled with his past self to 2012 Manhattan yet.
