Takhail was a village in Russia. The Troika Cultural Centre was built there after Takhail was no longer inhabited.
On 25 April 2086, the Fourth Doctor, Harry Sullivan and Sarah Jane Smith landed at the Centre. They helped Ivan Milov defeat Gregor Arkady, who had turned the population of the Centre into zombies. (COMIC: Black Destiny)
