UFO hunters[]

Barney visits the village of Bonnybridge in Falkirk, Scotland[4] reportedly one of the UK's UFO hotspots, he tells viewers that local residents have reported many UFO sightings and even some abductions.

Barney meets a local expert who informs him that there have over 4000 sightings over the past 14 years, averaging at about 200 a year. He takes Barney to the local library to look at newspaper clippings and explains that it all started in the 1990s, when the Sluggert family had a strange encounter with a hovering object making strange noises.

Barney then meets a resident who has reported several sightings and watches her camcorder footage of a UFO she shot from her bedroom window, and she says it was a bit scary.

Barney wonders what the government are doing about all this, so meets up with the man that used to run the governments UFO project. He explains how he would investigate about 300 sightings a year, gathering information to find explanations - many were found to be aircraft lights, weather balloons or satellites; but to this day about 5% of sightings go unexplained. Barney asks if he is a believer, and he says that on the balance of probability he is.

Barney wants to see a UFO so he recruits 4 children to help him watch the night sky with binoculars, he plays a tune on a kids mini-keyboard, saying how he saw this a movie but nothing happens, then the tune plays back and they all scream and run away.
