T.P. McKenna (7 September 1929-13 February 2011[1]) played Captain Cook in the Doctor Who television story The Greatest Show in the Galaxy.
He was also considered for the roles of Lord Ravensworth in The Mark of the Rani (TCH 41), Orcini in Revelation of the Daleks, (TCH 41) the Chief Caretaker in Paradise Towers (TCH 43) and Ratcliffe in Remembrance of the Daleks. (TCH 44)

He was perhaps best known for playing KGB agent Richmond in Callan. He also made three guest appearances in The Avengers and apppeared in the final episode of Inspector Morse.
