Talk about it here.

The Suffragettes was a British movement in the early 20th century which campaigned for women's rights, particularly the right to vote.

History[]

In 1906, the First Doctor and Steven Taylor worked with the Suffragette Ruby Watkins to stop a group of aliens from interfering in Earth history. The three later stumbled across a Suffragette protest which Ruby had been planning to attend before she'd become entangled in the alien plot. (AUDIO: Peace in Our Time)

In 1912, the First Doctor, Steven Taylor and Vicki Pallister met the suffragette Constance Arden. Vicki later attended a rally with Arden. (AUDIO: The Suffering)

Constance Harding was a suffragette whom the Seventh Doctor met while he was living as a human in England in 1913. (PROSE: Human Nature)

The Eighth Doctor claimed to have chained the suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst to the railings outside 10 Downing Street. (PROSE: Casualties of War) The Tenth Doctor later claimed that Pankhurst had stolen his laser spanner. (TV: Smith and Jones)
