Steller's sea cow

According to The I-Spyder Book of Earth Creatures, the Giant sea cows — formally known as Hydrodamalis — were a giant marine mammal typically hailing from around the area of what is now Southern California, Mexico, Japan & also the Bering Strait(Mainly the Aleutian & Commander Islands)on Earth during the Neogene-Quaternary periods. They could be as much as 8-10 metres long and had "thick grey skin and small, bristly forelimbs." The Cuesta Sea Cow was known as the largest sirenian ever to live, reaching a size of 10m, while the Steller’s Sea Cow, the second largest sirenian, had a length of 8-9m.

It has been told that Steller’s Sea Cow evolved from the Cuesta Sea Cow, which in turn, evolved from the 5-ton desmostylian Behemotops & they were driven to extinction by human hunting. The last sighting on Earth was in 1768. In reality, the last individual was taken to the Museum of the Last Ones.

They had an I-Spyder point value of 1000. (PROSE: The Last Dodo)
