Morbius once acquired a stellar manipulator for his plans of universal dominance. However, the Eighth Doctor stole its control device in order to foil Morbius' plans. Created by the Cephlie, Merlin's Helm acted as a stellar manipulator as well as being integrated into Avalon's nanobot system. The helm was used to destroy the planet's sun in around the 10th century. (PROSE: The Sorcerer's Apprentice)
