Skaar and his fellow Ice Warriors travelled to Earth in stealth pods, almost all of which were destroyed by Lady Zelanda's forces. Skaar's stealth pod was found on the north shore at Cape Wrath by Archie Anderson and taken to the nearby military base, where it was opened and examined by the Second Doctor.
